Mikael Wahlin
Plays Romantic Organ Music
Mikael Wahlin born in 1960 is one of Sweden’s most successful organists. He studied with Hans Fagius and Hans-Ola Ericsson at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, and with David Sanger in London.
His broad and exiting repertoire stretches from the Baroque to the music of the 20th century, with a focus on the music by Bach, Reger, the romantics and French composers like Vierne and Franck. On this CD Wahlin plays works by Marcel Dupré, André Fleury, Ernst Krenek, Max Reger and Joseph Jongen.
