Ale Möller: Bouzoukispelman
Legendary recording with Ale Möller, for the first time in digital formats (CD, downloads, streaming) thanks to a collaboration between the prestigious Swedish folk music label Giga and Caprice Records. As the titles suggest this is an album where Ale plays Swedish folk tunes on bouzouki.
In the world of music, Ale Möller is a well travelled man. With an array of instruments he has wandered far and wide, in space and time. Jazz was his first real love in music, swing and bebop. He learnt how to play bouzouki in Greece with the orchestra Neo Minore, musicians that often worked together with Mikis Theodorakis.

All these impressions, together with his own quest for a traditional spelman sound, filled Ale’s musical crucible, to be cast in the form of this first solo record of his very special brand of folk music. This music is so Swedish yet reflects the broad musical experience of his travels.
The other musicians on the album are: Ellika Frisell, Per Gudmundson, Totte Mattsson, Bill McChesney, Katarina Olsson, Simon Simonson, and Röjås Jonas.
